Abstract

İn our clinic, by peripheral blood chromosome culture 38 Down syndrome cases arc diagnosed as regular trisomi 21. Thc IgA, IgG and IgM levels of these cascs arc ıncasurcd by tri-partigcn immunodiffusion technique. The results arç comparcd by that of controls. İn our study, the Down syndrome cases are found to have normal immunog lobulin levels against infections and the quantitative variations are thought as ac quired results.

Down Sendromlu Çocuklarda Humoral İmmunitenin İncelenmesi (IgA, IgG, IgM Düzeyleri)

Abstract

Kliniğimizde periferik kan kromozom kültürleri yapılarak regüler trisomi 21 tanısı alan 38 Down sendromlu olgumuzun IgA, IgG ve IgM düzeyleri tri-partigen immunodiffüzyon yöntemi ile ölçüldü. Sonuçlar sağlıklı Türk çocuklarından oluşan kontrol yuplarımız ile karşılaştırıldı. Calışmamızda, Down sendromlu olgularımızın infeksiyonlara karşı yeterli düzeyde immunoglobulin yaparak yanıt verdiği saptanıldı ve immunoglobulin düzeylerinde görülen bu değişikliklerin kazanılmış sonuçlar olabileceği tartışıldı.
