Subklavian Steal Sendrom
Abstract
A disease newiy known in the surgical world, the Subelaviansteal syndrome, should be sought for, whenever a patient has the symptoms of diminished or lost peripheral arterial pulses of one
of his upper extremities and transient cerebral ischemia, raphy acentains the diagnosis. Thus, reversed blood flow in the vertebral artery, the exact anatomical location and extent of the obstruction
can be seen. Cases are classified as symptomatic and asymptomatic. In this paper we have added 3 of our cases who have had differentsurgical interventions to the 4 cases previonsiy reported inTurkey.
