Clark Collip Kalsiyum Tayin Metodu ve Kalsiyum Standartlarının Hazırlanmasına Ait Çalışma
Abstract
The table 1 shows that the pH 4,90 which is the nearest to the precipitation pH 4,96 of calcium oxalate is obtained by our experiments B.. This finding proves that the normality of the standart solution must be 0,02 N.
In order to prepare a suitable calcium standart solution 250 mg. CaCO3 must be dissolved in 20 ml, N HCI and the volume made up to 1000 ml. with distilled water.
To estimate calcium in serum 2 ml. distilled water, 2 ml. serum and 1 mi. ammonium oxalate are put in a centrifuge tube and mixed. The serum, blank and standart are left in room temperature
for 5 minutes Which is enough to precipitate calcium, there is no need to keep for longer period in room temperature or in a refrigerature. Our experiments proves that 5 ml. of distilled water can be used instead of ammonia water to wash the calcium oxalate.
We suggest the use of the following formula after titration with potassium permanganate:
[(Serum titer - blank titer)/(standart titer - blank titer)] x 10 = %mg. Ca
