Abstract

Bu çalışmada klimakterik şikâyetleri olan 37 kadın hastada yeni bir östrojen preparatı olan östradiol valerianat (Progynova) ile tedavi sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir. Hastaların büyük çoğunluğunda tedaviye kısa sürede olumlu yanıt alınmış, vejetatif ve genital şikâyetlerde belirgin iyileşme sağlanmıştır. Serviks mukusu analizleri ile tedavinin östrojenik etkisi gösterilmiştir. Dozaj ve tedavi süresi, hastanın klinik yanıtına göre düzenlenmiştir. Çalışma sonuçları, sistemik östrojen tedavisinin güvenli ve etkili bir seçenek olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.

Abstract

This study evaluates the results of treatment with a new estrogen preparation, estradiol valerianate (Progynova), in 37 women presenting climacteric complaints. The majority of patients showed rapid improvement in both vegetative and genital symptoms. Cervical mucus tests confirmed the estrogenic effect of the treatment. Dosage and duration were adjusted based on individual clinical response. The findings suggest that systemic estrogen therapy is a safe and effective option in managing climacteric symptoms in women.
