Abstract

Essential benign fructosuria gösteren bir vak'a bildirilmistir. Hastamn idrarmda seker reaksiyonu veren redüktan bir madde tesbit edildiã•inden, diabet süphesiyle kliniže yatll'llrms fakat idrardaki redüktan maddenin polarimetrede levorotasyon göstermesi, seliwanoff reaksiyonunun pozitif olusu, glukoz oxidase reaksiyonunun negatif olusu, aglik kan sekerinin ve glukoz tolerans testinin normal olusu, früktoz ihtiva eden gldalamn allnmasm1 müteakip idrara redüktan maddenin geçmesi, dietten früktoz Glkarfldlktan sonra ise idrarda seker reaksiyonunun kaybolmasl ve hastanm tamamiyle asemptomatik olusu dolasnsiyle vak'aya essential benign fructosuria teshisi konulmustur.

Abstract

A case of essential benign fructosuria is reported. Rutine urine analysis showed positive Fehling and Benedict reaction. For this season the patient was adrnitted to the hospital for further studies. Repeated fasting blood sugar and glucose tolerans curve was found sölithin normal limits.
The reductant substance in the acide urine showed levorotation in polarimetric studies and gave positive Seliwanoff reaction and negative glucose oxidase reaction. When the patient was given fructose contain foods, positive sugar reaction was obtained in the urine, but after the patient is placed on diet which contains no fructose, the reductant substance disappeared from the urine. Because of the patient had no symptoms, essential benign fructouria was diagnosed.
