Plasma Haptoglobin Group Antigens

Abstract

Plasma baptoglobin antijenlerine karşı husule gelen bir iso -immünizasyon vak'ası takdim edilmiştir. Yazarlar Smithies'den mo- difie ederek ortaya koydukları (İncubation'dan sonra elektroforez) tekniği ile hasta plasmasında, kaptoglobin immün antikorlarını tespit etmişlerdir.Ayrıca Türklerde plasma haptoglobin grup antijenlerini ve bunların AB0, Rhesus sistemleri ile olan münasebetlerini incelemişlerdir.
Türklerde Hp 1/Hp I grubu, Avrupalılardan daha az, buna mukabil Hp 2/Hp 2 daha fazla nisbette tespit edilmiştir. Türkiye'de Hp /Hpl ve Hp1/Hp 2 grup antijenleri(0) grubu şahıslarda, Hp 2/Hp 2 antijenleri ise (B) grubü şahıslarda daha fazla görülmüştür.

Abstract

A case of isoimmunization against plasma haptoglobin antigens is presented. The authors detected haptoglobin immune antibodies in patient plasma using a technique modified from Smithies (electroporesis after incubation). They also examined plasma haptoglobin group antigens and their relationship to the AB0 and Rhesus systems in Turks. Hp 1/Hp I group antigens were detected less frequently in Turks than in Europeans, while Hp 2/Hp 2 was detected more frequently. In Türkiye, Hp/Hp 1 and Hp 1/Hp 2 group antigens were observed more frequently in individuals with type (0), while Hp 2/Hp 2 antigens were observed more frequently in individuals with type (B).
