Increasing intraamniotic temperature and its effects

Abstract

A new method for interruption of pregnancy in midtrimestr and in cases of intra uterin foetal death, is presented. In this met hod amniotic fluid is aspirated, headet up to 60 80 0 C and injected back into the amnioticcavity by use of a simple and original procedure which is performed from 30 to 60 minutes without interruption. By the use of this new procedure, we were able to in. duce myometrial contractions in IQ of 19 cases . Degneration of
the placental function by not amniotic fluid byhot amniotic fluid may exlain the mechanism of action of this method. Presence of histo - pathologic changes in the placentas of therapeutic abortions support thi theory.

Íkinci trimestr gebeliklerin teranötik abortion ve intra uterin ölü çocuk vak'alarında gebeliğin sonlandll'llmasl için. yeni bir metod gelistirdik. Bu metodda amnios mayii basit ve orijinal bir islem ile asopire edilip, Is.lltlhp,- tekrar amnios kesesi içerisine zerk edil mektedir ve bu uygulamaya 1/2 - 1 saat devam edilmektedir. Bu teknikle 19 vak'adan 14'ünde gebeliži sonlandlrdlk. Isltllmls amnios mayiinin plasenta fonksiyonlarlnl bozmak suretiyle etki gösterdiži kanaatindeyiz. Nitekim plasentalarln muayenesinde histolojik dešisikliklerin bulunusu bu görüsü desteklemektedir.
