Damar Yaralanmalarının Geç Komplikasyonları ve Cerrahi Tedavi Yöntemleri
Abstract
Vascular trauma is frequently encountered in civilian life. The primary late complications include pseudoaneurysms and arteriovenous fistulas. Between 1960 and 1969, 25 patients were surgically treated for such complications in the First Surgical Clinic. Most pseudoaneurysms and fistulas resulted from firearm injuries or penetrating trauma. This study reviews clinical material, injury mechanisms, surgical techniques, and outcomes, emphasizing the superiority of early surgical intervention over delayed procedures.
