Therapeutic Possibility of Treating Varicosities with “DRA 363”

Abstract

This study investigates the clinical effectiveness of the drug DRA 363 (marketed as Rexileven in Europe) for treating subjective complaints associated with varicose veins. Thirty-one patients, mostly women, who were unwilling to undergo surgery, received the medication at Ankara University’s Surgical Department. Among the 23 cases evaluated, 71.4% experienced full relief from symptoms such as leg heaviness, burning, tension, and cramps. No adverse effects were recorded. The drug did not reduce external appearance of varices, but significantly improved patients' quality of life. DRA 363 was well tolerated and effective in alleviating non-surgical varicose vein symptoms.

Varislerin “DRA 363” ile Tedavi İmkânı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada varikosisli hastalarda ameliyat dışında tedavi arayan bireylerde “DRA 363” adlı preparatın etkinliği incelenmiştir. A.Ü. Cerrahi Kürsüsü'nde 31 hastaya uygulanmış, bunlardan 23'ü değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Vakaların %71.4’ünde ağırlık, yanma, gerginlik, batma ve kramp gibi şikayetler tamamen geçmiştir. Hiçbir yan etki gözlenmemiştir. Varislerin dış görünümünde belirgin değişiklik olmamakla birlikte hastaların yaşam kalitesinde anlamlı iyileşme sağlanmıştır. DRA 363 ameliyatsız varis tedavisinde güvenilir ve etkili bir ilaç olarak öne çıkmaktadır.
