This was a case of acute renal insufficiency which her azotemia was 342 mg % on admittance and she was also in pnofound oliguria. 'We performed peritoneal dialysis twice on this case in a week, (each performance took 36 hours of time) and we used 30 liters of dialysis solution on each stage. At the end. of dialysis patient's azotemia decreased to. 87 mg % and the diuresis increased to 1800 cc per day. We presented here the excellent results of peritoneal dialysis on a case of acute renal insufficiency.

Akut böbrek yetmezliği tablosu içinde gelen ve başlangıçta kanda üresi % 342 mg. olan, hemen hemen anuri içinde bulunan vakada bir hafta zarfında. iki seans (Her biri 36 saat süren) peritoneal dializ sonunda hastada hem diürez temin edilmiş, hem de kanda üresi % 87 mg. a düşürülmek suretiyle normal hayata iade edilmiş oldu. Peritoneal dializin akut böbrek yetmezliği hallerinde müsait teşirinin güzel bir nümunesi elde edilmiş olması dolayısıyla vaka takdim edilmiştir.
