Scoliosis and Harrington surgery

Abstract

This study evaluated the results of surgical treatment for scoliosis in 12 cases. In all cases, a cast correction was performed first, followed by fusion surgery. Only in two cases was the Harrington procedure performed, resulting in 11 (92%) success rates.

Abstract

Bu araştırmada 1 2 vaka üzerinde skoliozun cerrahi tedavi neticeleri değerlendirilmiştir. Bütün vakalarda önce bir alçı koreksiyonu ve sonra da füzyon ameliyatı yapılmıştır. Yalnız 2 vakada Harrington ameliyatl uygulanmıs ve neticede ll (%92) başarı sağlanmıştır.
