A genuine case of Klinefelter syndrome, probably showing family chromosome irregularity

Abstract

Bu makalemizde, tesbit etmiş olduğumuz bir hakiki Klinefelter vak'ası dolayısıyle bu sendromda görülen kromozom tiplerinin ve testis bulgularının münakaşası yapılmıştır. İmkânsızlıklar dolayısıyle hastamızda gonadotropin ve öslrojer tayini yapamadık. Hastamız, puberte başlangıcındaki bir genç kıza benzer gögüslere sahip olduğu için, memeleri operatif olarak uzaklaştırdık. Ayırıcı teşhiste, hakiki hermafroditismusdan ayırmak için laparatomi yaptık. Uterus ve Ovariumlara ait bulgu tesbit edemedik. Tedavi için testosteron depot preparatları kullandık. Hasta, klinikten çok iyi bir durumda ayrıldı.

Muhtemelen Familyer Kromozom Düzensizliği Gösteren Hakiki Bir Klinefelter Sendromu Vakası Dolayısıyla

Abstract

This article discusses the chromosome types and testicular findings seen in this syndrome, based on a genuine case of Klinefelter syndrome we identified. Due to limited resources, we were unable to perform gonadotropin and estrogen determinations in our patient. Because our patient had breasts similar to those of a young girl at the onset of puberty, we surgically removed the breasts. For differential diagnosis, we performed a laparotomy to distinguish it from true hermaphroditism. We found no findings in the uterus or ovaries. We used testosterone depot preparations for treatment. The patient left the clinic in excellent condition.
