Determination Of Metachromatic Staining Features Of Thyroid Parafolicular Cells

Abstract

C celis of the cat thyroid gland were taken up from the metachromatic staining standpoint before and after the hydrolysis procedure. Although the cells were stained metachromatically before hydrolysis. after it they were easily distinguished, showing a marked metachromatic staining among the follicüler cells which appeared very light blue. In accordance with the degree of metachromatic reaction which they gave, the thiazin dyes may be classified as thionin, methylene blue, toluidine blue
and azure A.

Tiroid Parafolliküler Hücrelerin Metakromatik Boyanma Özelliklerinin Belirtilmesi

Abstract

Kedi tiroid bezi C hücreleri metakromatik boyanma, özellikleri yönünden hidroliz işleminden önce ve sonra incelenmek üzere ele alındı. Hidroliz işleminden önce bu hücreler metakromatik boyanmakla beraber, hidrolizden sonra çok açık mavi boyanan follikül hücreleri arasında kuvvetli metakromatik boyanma göstererek kolaylıkla belirlendiler. Verdikleri metakromazinin reaksiyon derecesine göre tiazin boyalarıni; tionin, metilen mavisi, toluidin mavisi ve azur A olarak sıralanabildi.
