Abstract

Bu yazıda literatürdeki hipofizektomi ve girişim metotları gözden geçirildi. Transfrontal-pterional girişim metodu ile yapılan ve mikroteknik kullanılan selektif hipofizektominin diğer metotlara olan üstünlüğü tartışıldı. Mikroteknik kullanılan gurup (21 hasta) ile klasik hipofizektomi yapılan gurup (52 hasta) arasındaki sonuç farkları karşılaştırıldı.

Abstract

In this article, the nıethods of hypophysectomy in the lite-rature were reviewed. The superiority of selective hypophysec-
tomy and microtecnique by transfrontal-pterional route to the other methods were discussed. The comparison of the results of the microtecnique group (21 patients) and the classical hypophysectomy group (52 patients) were done.
