Ketosteroidler Tayini ve 100 Vakalık Bir Çalışma Sonuçları

Abstract

17 ketosteroidlerin teşekkülü, yer ve fonksiyonları kısaca, anlatıldı. Kliniğimiz laboratuvarında Zimmerman metodu ile uygulanan 17 ketosteroid tayini her laboratuvar hekiminin uygulayabileceği tarzda anlatılmaya çalışıldı. Çalışmamız esnasında 17 ketosteroid tayini için müracaat eden 100 vakanın retrospktif olarak dosyaları incelendi. 10 normal kontrol grubunda ortalama değer 7.75 mg. bulundu. Primer amenore teşhisiyle müracaat eden 12 hastada ortalama 7,1 mg. olarak bulundu (7 16.6). Sekonder amenore şikâyti olan 14 hastanın ortalaması 10.6 mg. olup, bu hastaların 15 inde normalin üst hududunda 17 ketosteroid tesbit edildi. 40 Stein - Leventhal teşhisi almış hastanın 17 ketosteroid değerleri ortalaması 13.4 mg. olarak bulundu. Bunların 30 unda normalin üzerinde değerler tesbit edildi. Hirsutismus şikâyetleri, en başta gelen 17 hastada 17 ketosteroid değeri 12.8 mg. idi. Bunların 30 vakada normalin üstünde değerler tesbit edildi. Yukarıda da görüldüğü üzere yaptığımız çalışma esnasında en yüksek 17 ketosteroid miktarı, polikistik over düşünülen hastalarda tesbit edildi.

Ketosteroids Determination and Results of a Study of 100 Cases

Abstract

The formation, location, and functions of the 17 ketosteroids are briefly described. The 17 ketosteroid determination performed in our clinic's laboratory using the Zimmerman method was explained in a way that any laboratory physician can apply. During our study, the files of 100 patients who applied for 17 ketosteroid determination were retrospectively reviewed. In the 10 normal control group, the mean value was 7.75 mg. In the 12 patients presenting with a diagnosis of primary amenorrhea, the mean value was 7.1 mg (7 vs. 16.6 mg). In the 14 patients with secondary amenorrhea, the mean value was 10.6 mg, and in 15 of these patients, 17 ketosteroid levels were found to be within the upper limit of normal. In the 40 patients diagnosed with Stein-Leventhal, the mean value of 17 ketosteroids was found to be 13.4 mg. Above-normal values ​​were found in 30 of these patients. The 17-ketosteroid level in the 17 patients with the most frequent complaints of hirsutismus was 12.8 mg. Above-normal values ​​were found in 30 of these cases. As seen above, the highest 17-ketosteroid levels were found in patients suspected of having polycystic ovaries during our study.
