Abstract
Psikiyatride akut uyum bozuklukları nedenleri üzerinde durulmuş kriz ve krize müdahale kavramları tanımlanmıştır. Rrize müdahale merkezlerinin günümüzdeki yeri ve çeşitli yazarlarm bu konuya yaklaşımları gözden geçirilmiştir. Amsterdam Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde 1972 den beri süre gelen uygulama konuya açıklık getirmek üzere örnek olarak verilmiştir. Toplumsal gerçeklerimiz dikkate alınarak A.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi bünyesinde böyle bir uygulamanın nedenli gerekli olduğu tartışılmıştır.

Abstract
Acute psychiatric emergencies with their possible reasons crisis conceps in psychiatry and their emergency ireatmenis are discussed in additon to various approaches of different authors. Acute pschiatric emergency Centers of present day is Vvİewved and to bring into light the importance and:effectivesess of such Centers a specific axample is given: Medical School of Amsterdam University's acute Crisis Center. If we take into concideration our social reality and present day crisis situation, the extremely importance of intervening oımto the functional structure of Ankara Medical School, a similer or modified model of a pschiatric crisis center can hopefuliy be under stood.
