Abstract

Selektif koroner arteriografinin komplikasyonları, New York Eyaleti'nin Syracuse şehrindeki St. Joseph Hastanesi Kardiyovasküler Laboratuvarı ve Araştırma Bölümünde son 10 yıl içinde Sones tekniği ile incelenen 2000 hastada gözden geçirildi. Bu grupta ölüm oranı % 0.05 olarak bulundu; ayrıca kalp sektesi % 0.05 ve ventrikül fibrilasyonu % 0.75 olarak saptandı.
Literatür gözden geçirildiğinde ölüm (70 0.78), kalp sektesi 1.01) ve ventrikül fibrilasyonu (70 1.41) gibi komplikasyonların insidansının Judkins tekniği kullanan laboratuvarlarda çok yüksek olduğu görüldü.

Complications of Coronary Arteriography

Abstract

The complications of selective coronary arteriography in 2000 patients studied by the Sones tecnique during the last 10 yearş in the Cardiovascular Laboratory and Research Department of St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, New York State are reviewed. The overall mortality rate in this group was 0.05 % ; myocardial infarction and ventricular fibrilation occured respectively in 0.05 and 0.75 per cent of the cases.
A review of the current literature revealed that the incidence of complications such as death (0.78 % ) , myocardial infarction (1.01 % ) and ventricular fibrilation (1.41 70) was much higher in laboratory using the femoral approach (Judkins tecnique) .
