Abstract

Akut iskemik kalp hastalığı sırasında oluşan geçici bir WPW sendromu bildirilmiştir. Böyle vakalarda WPW sendromunun oluşması ve ortadan kalkması çok nadir bir olaydır. Burada WPW sendromu oluşması bakımından iki muhtemel mekanizma ileri sürülmektedir.

1. Akut iskemik olay sırasında A-V düğümde blok oluşması nedeni ile iletimin daha önceden latent halde bulunan aksesuar iletim yollarının fonksiyon görür hale geçmesi ile temin edilmesi ve WPW sendromu teşekkül etmesi.

2. Akut iskemik olaya tepki olarak otonom sinir sistemi aktivitesinin artmasının daha önceden latent halde olan aksesuar dalda iletimi oluşturarak WPW sendromunu ortaya çıkarması şeklindedir.

Transient Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome Occurring in Acute Ischemic Heart Disease

Abstract

A case of WPW syndrome which developed during an acute episode of ischemic heart disease is reported. Temporary occurrence of WPW syndrome in such cases is known to be very rare. Two possible mechanisms for the occurrence of WPW syndrome have been postulated.

1. During the acute ischemic episode, conduction disturbances occur in the A-V node and the previously latent accessory pathway becomes to function and WPW syndrome develops.

2. Increased autonomic activity as a response to acute ischemic heart disease improves conduction in the otherwise latent accessory pathway and makes the appearance of WPW syndrome possible.
