Abstract

In mental institutions where many patients die each year and where anatomopathological research is conducted, it is always possible to find symmetrical frontal hyperostosis to some extent, as mentioned above. This disease was previously considered a process seen only in severe psychosis. However, this disease, which combines three groups of symptoms and is called metabolic craniopathy, is quite rare.

Abstract

Her yıl bir çok hastanın öldüğü ve anotomopatolojik araştırmaların yapıldığı akıl müesseselerinde - yukarıda zikredildiği gibi - simetrik
frontal hiperostozu bir nisbet dahilinde bulmak daima mümkündür. Bu
hastalık önceleri sırf ağır psikozlarda görülen bir prosessüs sayılmıştır.
Fakat daha ziyade üç grup semptomların bir arada toplandığı ve metabolik kranyopati ismini alan bu hastalık oldukça nadirdir.
