Cephalin-Cholesterol Flocculation Test and Its Value Between Liver Function Tests

Abstract

I — In healthy individuals, patients without liver disease, and those with secondary and local liver diseases, the cephalin-cholesterol fluocculation test generally yields a negative response. Conversely, in primary or chronic, diffuse liver diseases, the response is positive in 88% of cases. Conversely, in obstructive jaundice, which is based on five cases, the response is negative in 80% of cases. II — In a comparative comparison with other liver function tests, the cephalin-cholesterol fluocculation test showed no parallelism with any of them. If a conclusion is to be made based on these limited cases, we can say that the cephalin-cholesterol fluocculation reaction provides the most clinically appropriate response. III — Therefore, considering its sensitivity, its reliance on specific liver parenchymal damage and its ease of application, our findings confirm the opinions of Hanger, Rosenberg and Soskin that the cephalin-cholesterol fluorococcal reaction can serve as a key in the examination of liver damage and diseases.

Cephalin - Cholesterol Flokülasiyon Testi ve Karaciğer Fonksiyon Testleri Arasındaki Değeri

Abstract

I — Sağlamlarda, karaciğeri hasta olmayan hastalarda ve karaciğerin tali ve lokal afetlerinde sefalin - kolesterol fülokülasiyon testi umumiyetle menfi reaksiyon vermektedir. Buna mukabil karaciğerin hat veya kronik iptidai ve difüz hastalıklarında 88 % nisbetinde reaksiyon müsbettir. Diğer taraftan 5 vak'aya istinat eden tıkanma ikterlerinde ise reaksiyon 80 % nisbetinde menfidir. II — Diğer karaciğer fonksiyon testleri ile mukayesevi karşılaştırmada Sefalin - kolesterol fülokülasiyon testi hiç biri ile bir paralellizim göstermemiştir. Bu mahdut vak'alara istinat eden tetkikle bir hüküm vermek o icabederse o sefahin-koleterol füloksiyon reaksiyonunun kliniğe hepsinden fazla uygun cevap verdiğini söyleyebiliriz. III — Binaenaleyh hassasiyeti, spesifik karaciğer parankim harabiyetine istinat etmesi ve yapılmasının da çok basit olmasını nazarı itibare alarak karaciğer harabiyetlerini, hastalıklarını tetkikte sefalin - kolesterol fülokülasiyon reaksiyonunun bir anahtar vazifesi görebileceği hususundaki Hanger, Rosenberg ve Soskin'in kanaatlarını bizim bulgularımızda teyit eder mahiyettedir.
