Abstract

1. The amount of extracellular fluid was determined in 25 normal adults using sodium rhodanate solution.
2. The average extracellular fluid volume constitutes 27.33% of body weight. The highest figure previously found was 26.4 liters in 28 cases.
3. The paradox that extracellular fluid does not decrease proportionally with body weight in our cases is explained by the large fluctuations in interstitial fluid, even under normal conditions.

etmektedir. Bizden evvel bulunan en yüksek rakam 28 vakada “, 26.4

3. Vakalarımızda, ekstrasellüler sıvının vücut ağırlığının artması ile
muvazi olarak gitmemesi paradoksu, interstisyel sıyının, normal şartlar
içinde bile, büyük oynaklıklar göstermesi ile izah edilmiştir.
