İki Q humması vak'ası taktim edilmiştir. Her iki ik vak'ada radyolojik olarak alt loblarda konsolidasyon bulunmuştur. Hasta —
serumlarmda 1/320 titrede riketsiya börneti aglutininlerinin bulunmasl ile kesin teshis konulmustur.
Bazi Q hummasl vak'alarl infeksiyöz monunukleosis, hepatitis, arteritis, endokarditis, menenjitis, ensefalitis ve sebebi bilinmiyen atesli bir hastallk gibi seyreden klinik tablolar gösterebilir. Antibiyotiklerin kullamlmasmdan sonra Q hummasmln klasik klinik tablosu dežiserek latent veya sublinik formlara dönüsmüstür.
Türkiyede ilk defa kardiyovasküler hastallžl olanlarda C. burnetii pglutininleri saptanml§tlr (20). Bu rapor ve bildirilen iki vak'a Türkiyede C. burnetii infeksiyonlanmn yaygmllžml göstermektedir
Burada gaye; yukarda adl geçen hastallklarm benzeri vak'alar karslsmda Q hummasmm da düsünülmesi zorunlužuna dikkati eekmek, yoksa bu hastallžln kolayca gözden kaçlrllabilecežini hatlrlatmaktlr.

Coxiella Burnetii Infections and Two Cases of Q Fever
Two cases of Q fever are represented. In both cases roentgenographic examinations showed the presence of consolidation involving the lower lobes (Fig. 1, 2). The final diagnosis has been established by laboratory tests, particularly by a rise Of agglutinins in the patients sera as high as 1/320 in titer.
Some cases of Q fever may give a clinical picture suggesting infectious mononucleosis, het)atitis, arteritis, endocarditis, menengitis, encephalitis, and fever of unccrtain origin. After antibiotics Qfever showed a deviation from the classic picture to latent or subclinical from.
Positive slide agglutination tests for C. burnetii having cardiovascular complications were first time reported in Turkey (20). This report and two cases presented in this paper indicate that C. burnetii infections are widespread in this country.
It is the purpose of this communication to draw attention to the fact that Q fever is easily missed, unless the other diseases mentioned above is considered.
