Abstract

Because the vitamin content of foodstuffs varies significantly under the influence of various conditions, local investigation is necessary. With this in mind, we attempted to determine the vitamin content of our country's animal and plant products. First, we determined the vitamin A content in animal foods and the carotene content in plant foods.

Abstract

Gıda maddelerinin ihtiva ettikleri vitamin miktarlarının muhtelif şartların tesiri ile gösterdikleri büyük değişiklikler sebebi ile
mahalli olarak tetkiki icabetmektedir. Bu düşünce ile memleketimizin hayvani ve nebati adla maddelerinin vitamin miktarlarını tayine teşebbüs ettik, Ilk olarak da hayvani gıda maddelerinde vitamin A'yı, nebati gıda maddelerinde
de karoten'i tayin ederek ne miktarda ihtiva ettiklerini tesbit ettik.
