Abstract

Bu yazıda pacemaker sistemleri tarihçesinden itibaren gözden geçirildi. Endikasyonlar bölümünde asemptomatik vakaların da cerrahi uygulama alanına girdiği belirtildi. Pacemaker tatbik yollarının avantaj ve dezavantajları belirtildi. Özellikle transvenöz tatbikatın kritiži yaplldl. Elektrot komplikasyonlanmn - özellikle dislokasyo nun - miyokardial tatbikte, endokardialden daha az görüldüžü belirtildi. Pacemakerlerde ekstraplöral girisim yollarmm üstünlükleri, vaka serilerindeki uzak ve yakin gonuçlarl bildirildi. Bu meLodlann transvenöz ve torakotomi teknižinden daha uygun oldužu ve rutin olarak uygulanabileceži belirtildi.

Abstract

The pacemaker systems were reviewed including their history. It was stressed that even in asymptomatic cases the surgical treatment should also be considered. Advantages and disadvantages of the various techniques in implantation were evaluated. Especially transvenous implantation was criticized. Electrode complications especially dislocation are rarely encountered in myocardial pacing than that of endocardials. The superiority of the extrapleurpl approach, early and late results of these procedures were documanted.
In summary these methods are more dependeble than that of transvenous and thoracotomy techniques.
