Pacemaker'ler ve Tatbik Yolları

Abstract

The pacemaker systems were reviewed including their history. It was stressed that even in asymptomatic cases the surgical treatment should also be considered. Advantages and disadvantages of the various techniques in implantation were evaluated. Especially transvenous implantation was criticized. Electrode complications especially dislocation are rarely encountered in myocardial pacing than that of endocardials. The superiority of the extrapleurpl approach, early and late results of these procedures were documanted. In summary these methods are more dependeble than that of transvenous and thoracotomy techniques.
