Abstract
1 - It is generally accepted today that practically all primary kidney tumors arise from the kidney tissue, although those of true adrenal origin are rarely encountered.
2 - These are highly malignant, while benign tumors are rare.
3 - Radical surgery is the sole treatment option.
4 - While the proportion of cases cured with treatment over a five-year period is approximately 90-20, recurrence is relatively common after this period.
5 - The clinically important issue is early diagnosis of these tumors and distinguishing them as pelvic or parenchymal in origin. Histological type determination is performed by the pathologist, and this alone provides an indication of prognosis based on the degree of sensitivity to radiation therapy.

Abstract
1 — Pratikman bütün primer böbrek tümörlerinin böbrek dokusundan neş'et ettiği bugün umumiyetle kabul edilmektedir, nadiren de hakiki sürrenal menşeli olanlara rastlanılır.
2 — Bunlar yüksek derecede maligndirler, benign tümörler azdır.
3 — Yegöne tedavi şekli radikal operasyondur.
4 — Beş yıllık peridd için tedavile şifa sağlanabilen vak'aların nisbetleri 9020 kadar olmakla beraber, bu müddetten sonra nüks vukuu da nisbeten sıkça görülmektedir.
5 — Klinik bakımından önemli mesele bu tümörleri erkenden teşhisle pelvik veya parankimal menşeli olduklarının tefrikidir. Histolojik tiplerin tayini patolog tarafından yapılır ve bu sadece ışın tedavisine hassasiyet derecesile, prognoz hakkında fikir verir.
