Bu makalede yazar, Profesör J. R. Vane'in bilimsel geçmişini gözden geçirmiş ve onun ilgi alanlarını özetlemiştir: dolaşımdaki vazoaktif hormonlar, akciğerlerin metabolik fonksiyonları ve özellikle prostaglandinler üzerindeki son keşfi.

Abstract

About the visit of J. R. Vane to Turkey
In this article, the author is reviewed the scientific background of Prefessor J. R. Vane tand summarized his main fields of interest vaso - active hormones in circulation, metabolic functiones of the lungs and especially his recent discovery on prostaglandins.
