Abstract

1 — The antral lavage procedure is relatively safe, but it has several serious risks.
2 — An uncommon but serious complication is air embolism.
3 — One case of fatal air embolism has been investigated.
4 — Air inflation is not necessary after antral lavage.
If lavage has been performed correctly, this should be avoided.

Abstract

1 — Antral yıkama procedure nisbeten emin bir iştir fakat ciddi muhtelif accident'leri vardır.
2 — Çok görülmeyen fakat vahim bir complication da hava ambolisidir.
3 — Bir fatal hava ambolism'i vakası hakkında inceleme yapılmıştır.
4 — Hava inflation'u antrum lavajından sonra lüzumlu değildir.
Eğer lavaj doğru yaplmış ise bunu yapmaktan içtinap etmelidir.
