Yüksek Hava Basıncının Ekg Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

EFFECT OF HIGH AIR PRESSURE ON ECG

Year 1972, Volume: 25 Issue: 3, 339 - 348, 30.09.1972

Abstract

In this study 44 cats are investigated under hyperbaric air conditions. The changes in E.K.G. of the normal cats under this condition are recorded. Bradicardia is observed as a prominent finding related to hyperbaric air atmospher. On the atropinized and bilateral vagotomized cats similar results are obtained.
Acording to our findings the electrocardiographic changes and bradicardia seems to be related to the elevation of serum potassium level lather than nervous mechanism.
