Abstract

Timpanoplastinin son 15 yılda kulak zarı materyali kemikcik zincirinin düzenlenmesi ve ameliyat metodları yönlerinden geçirmiş olduğu gelişmelerden bahsedilmiştir. Kliniğimizde 1969 yılından beri uygulanmakta olan metodlar izah edilmiş, alınan sonuçlar gösterilmiştir.

Abstract

There are 210 tympanoplasty operations were performed at the Department of Otolaryngology of the Hacettepe University Medical Faculty during the period of last 8 years between 1964 - 1972. The combined approach and silastic sheet applications have been used in 72 cases since 1969. Various graft materials have been
tried and the temporal muscle fascia is found to be the most suitable graft material, Gelfoam application is also discontinued and silastic sheet has become our preferable material beneth the graft.
