Evaluation of Formimino-Glutamic Test in Pregnant and Puerperal Women

Abstract

The formimino - glutamic (FIGLU) test gives positive results in pregnancies with impaired folate metabolism. Polic acid deficiency, on the other hand, comes to the head of the factors that prepare for pregnancy complications and, in the meantime, predisposition to placental Decollete. FIGLU test is a laboratory method with a stimulating quality in cases of dystocia that erupts without showing prodromal symptoms. Folic acid therapy should be applied as a preventive treatment, especially in multipar and anemic pregnant women.

Abstract

Formimino - glutamik (FİGLU) testi, folate metabolizması bozulmuş gebeliklerde müsbet sonuç verir. Folik asit yetersizliği ise gebelik komplikasyonlarına ve bu arada plasanta dekolmanına predispozisyon hazırlayan faktörlerin başınğa gelir. Prodromal semptom göstermeden patlak veren distosi vakalarında FİGLU testi, uyarıcı niteliğe sahip bir laboratuvar metodudur. Özellikle mültipar ve anemik gebelerde folik asit tedavisi prevantif bir tedavi olarak uygulanmalıdır.
