Abstract

A case of aberrant thymus in thyroid from a patient, 66 year old who had thyroid carcinoma is presented. Aberrant thymus tissue in this case was located beneath the capsule of thyroid gland as a separate nodule. The rarity of aberrant thymus in thyroid was discussed. The presented case was suggested as a unique one because of being associated with thyroid carcinoma.

Aberrant Thymus Dokusu Ve Thyroid Kanseri

Abstract

66 yaşında kadın bir hastada tesbit edilen thyroid kanserinin incelenmesi sırasında bulunan bir aberan thymus vakası takdim edilmiştir. Aberan thymus dokusu thyroid kapsülünün altında yer almakta idi. Aberan thymus dokusunun diğer lokalizasyonları ve bu olayın azlığı tartışılmıştır.
