Abstract

III. The relationship between left atrial pressure and [(QI) - (AOS)] formula.
The relationship between left atrial mean pressure and (Q-1)— (AOS) formula was investigated in 70 cases with pure mitral stenosis. There was a rough correlation between them (r:+0.55) and the regression equation was: LA: 818 | (Q-1)-(A-OS) 1 +5.4.
This formula was not found superior to the assesment Q-1 and A-OS interval of left atrial mean pressure in mitral stenosis.
