Abstract

The litterature has been reviewed, concerning the influence of the alpha adrenergic blockers, on the pathological physiology, clinical features and therapy of the hemorrhagic shock. It is concluded that, the vasopressor agent, have harmful effects on the course of hemorrhagic shock and that the adminstration of the alpha adrenergic drugs may be useful in this condition provided that they were given after the compensation of hypovolemia by blood transfusion or plasma expanders.
