A Case of Splenic Vein Thrombosis Complicated with Portal Hypertension - Bleeding in Portal Hypertension and its Management

Abstract

The causes of portal hypertension has been briefly mentioned. A case of the splenic veine thrombosis has been presented. Morcower Gastro esophageal bleeding in portal hypertension has been reviewed. Most of the bleeding cascs are due to esophageal varices. Sometime one can not find any csophageal varices in which there is bleeding. We explain such cases with disturbance of the coagulation mechanisme duc to hypersplenism and low level of prothrombin. In those cases medical treatment should be done. If there is appearent hypersplenism with thrombocytopenia splenectomy is the treatment of choice.

Portal Hipertansiyon Yapmış Bir Vena Lienalis Trombozu Vak'ası - Portal Hipertansiyonda Kanama Problemi ve Tedavi Prensipleri

Abstract

Portal hipertansiyonun sebepleri kısaca zikredilmiştir. Bir Vena Lienalis trombozu vakası takdim edilmiştir. Ayrıca portal hipertansiyonda gastro özefagal kanamalar gözden geçirilmiştir. Kanama vakalarının çoğu özefagus varislerindendir. Bazan kanama vakalarında özefagus varisi bulunmaz. Biz bu gibi vakaları hipersiplenizm ve düşük protrombin tesiri ile husule gelen kuagulasyon mekanizmasındaki bozuklukla izah ediyoruz. Bu gibi vakalarda Tıbbi tedavi yapılmalıdır. Eğer trombositopeni ile beraber aşikâr hipersplenizm varsa en iyisi splancktomi yapmalıdır.
