Abstract

Akut eklem romatizması, spondilit romatoid ve romatoid artrit vakalarında serum proteinleri elektroforetik olarak tetkik edildi. Her üç gurupta da alfa ve gamma fraksiyonlarında artma vardır. Bu artış birinci guruptakilerde diğer guruplardan daha fazladır. Buna mukabil beta globulin fraksiyonu birinci grupta değişmediği halde, 2 ve 3 üncü gruplarda artar. Alfa fraksiyonundaki değişiklik hastalığın aktivasyonunu göstermek bakımından ayrı bir değeri haizdir.

Abstract

Serum proteins were analyzed electrophoretically in patients with acute rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid spondylitis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Increases in alpha and gamma reactivity were observed in all three groups. This increase was greater in the first group than in the other groups. In contrast, the beta globulin fraction remained unchanged in the first group but increased in groups 2 and 3. Changes in the alpha fraction are particularly valuable in indicating disease activation.
