Subclavian Steal Syndrome

Abstract

Two cases of «subclavian steal syndrome» has been reported and the literature on this subject is reviewed. The first case, being symptomatic, hasbeen operated on. The importance of angiocardi- ographic investigations in the diagnosis of subelavian steal syndro- me is explained. To our knowledge these are the second and the third cases of subclavian steal syndrome published in the Turkish Medical literature,

Abstract

Biri semptomatik, diğeri asemptomatik olan iki «subclavia çal- ma Steal» dendromu vakası takdim edilerek bu mevzudaki litera- tür gözden geçirilmiştir. Teşhiste angiokardiyografinin önemine de- ginilerek, bu metodla yapılan tetkiklerle böyle vakaların teşhisleri- nin zamanla artacağı belirtilmiş, daha önce yerli literatürde neşre- dilen bir vakaya iki vaka daha ilâve edilmiştir.
