Selection, Complications, and Outcomes of Direct Intervention in Chronic Occlusive Peripheral Artery Disease

Abstract

Out of 340 cases with chronic obstructive arterial disease, 59 were directly indicated for surgical intervention. Among these 59 cases, 24 were of the Aorta-iliac type with a late success rate of 96%. In 26 cases, femoral and femoropopliteal type occlusions were observed, with a late success rate of 44.60%. Among the 59 cases, 1 bleeding, 7 suppurations, and one aneurysm were reported. Since complications can lead to serious threats, precautions must be taken to avoid them, and adherence to surgical principles is essential.

Abstract

Kronik tıkayıcı arter hastalığı bulunan 340 vakadan 59'unda direkt müdahale endikasyonu konarak ameliyat edilmiştir. Bu 59 vakadan 24'ü Aorta-iliak tipinde olup geç başarı oranı %96'dır. 26 vakada femoral ve femoropopliteal tip tıkanma gözlemlenmiş ve geç başarı oranı %44,60'tır. 59 vakada 1 kanama, 7 süpürasyon ve bir anevrizma görülmüştür. Komplikasyonlar ciddi tehditlere yol açabileceğinden, bu komplikasyonlardan kaçınmak için gerekli önlemler alınmalı ve cerrahi prensiplere kesinlikle sadık kalınmalıdır.
