Post-Kolesistektomi Sendromunda Şirkürjikal Tedavi Sonuçları (47 vak'alık bir serinin etüdü)
Abstract
In a series of 47 cases of Post-Cholecystectomy Syndrome (P.C.S.), surgical treatment methods were applied. The long-term results after 14 years showed the following distribution: 37 patients (79.3%) fully recovered, 2 patients (4%) had partial recovery, and 2 patients (4%) had poor outcomes or recurrence. The total mortality rate was 12.7%.
To achieve success in the treatment of P.C.S., key principles include regulating fluid, electrolyte, and protein balance, fighting infections, choosing a wide access route, performing liver and pancreas biopsies, applying choledochoscopy when necessary, and ensuring proper drainage.
