Kadınlarda Trichomonas Enfeksiyonu

Abstract

Trichomonas vaginalis can be observed at various levels of cleanliness. When the organism's general and local resistance is compromised, it can lead to inflammatory changes in the vagina. Therefore, a facultative pathogenicity is present. In a study of 127 cases examined with contrast phase microscopy, Trichomonas vaginalis was found in 21 cases (16.5%). It was determined that this method is a reliable one for diagnosing Trichomonas vaginalis.
