Abstract

A rare cardiac tumor, intramural fibroma of the left ventricle in a 34 years old male, which was removed without the help of extracorporeal circulation, has been presented.
The originality of this report is its being the first case in the literature, presented at this age.
Cardiac tumors were also briefly discussed in this paper.

34 ya»ndaki bir erkek hastada te¾is edilen ve ekstrakorporeal dolasyma ihtiyaç görülmeden basarl ile çlkartllan, kalpte sol ventriktil ön-yan duvarda yer alan, bir intramural fibroma vakasl bildirilmistir. Vakanm 01'jinallié•i, literatürde bu ya;ta bildirilen ilk vaka olu§udur.
Bu vesile ile kalp tümörlerinden klsaca bahsedilmi$ir.
