Abstract

1 — 122 Epidemik hepatitli hastada SGOT, SGPT ve amylase aktivitesi tayin edildi.
2 — Transaminase değerleri sekiz hafta içinde tedricen alçalmakla beraber, mânidar olmakta devam etti. Buna karşılık, amylase aktivitesi normal sınırlar içinde bulundu (Şekil 1, 2, 3, tablo 1).
3 — Böylece, epidemik hepatitli hastaların serumunda amylase tayininin teşhiste değer taşımadığı kanısına varıldı.

Serum Amylase Activity in Epidemic Hepatitis

Abstract

1 — In sera of 122 cases with infective hepatitis were estimated SGOT, SGPT and amylase activities.
2 — Transaminase activity decreased gradually ina time of 8 weeks, but stayed higher than normal levels. On the contrary, amylase activity was found always in normal values (figure 1, 2, 3, table 1).
3 — For this reason, it has been shown in the present work that estimation of serum amylase in the patients With infective hepatitis appears to be not a useful test in diagnosis.
