Abstract

A 11-year-old girl received high doses of estrogen (Premarin) for 24 months for excessive height growth, and there was no change in the total 17-ketosteroid and fractions (CIO steroids) determined during the treatment.
On the other hand, as a result of the treatment, although the chronological law of bone aging is reached in the first 6 months, there will be a slowdown in the growth rate•.

Abstract

11 yaşında bir kız aşırı boy uzaması nedeniyle 24 ay boyunca yüksek dozda östrojen (Premarin) aldı ve tedavi sırasında tayin edilen toplam 17-ketosteroid ve fraksiyonlarında (CIO steroidleri) hiçbir değişiklik olmadı.
Öte yandan, tedavi sonucunda, kemik yaşlanmasının kronolojik yasası ilk 6 ayda ulaşmasına karşın, büyüme hızında bir yavaşlama olacaktır•.
