XO COMPLEX SYNDROME AND ITS TREATMENT WITH ORAL CONTRACEPTIVES

Abstract

Mm this paper two cases diagnosed as Turner's syndrome on elinical and laboratory grounds are deseribed. Both showed 45/X0 chromosome constitution with the peripheral blood leucocytes. Case 2 was additionally affected with bilateral congenital hip dislocation and in her kindred another patient suffering from sterility was considered of significance. Both patients were treated, in addition to the Wilkins scheme, with an oral contraceptive, «ovulen»,

X0 Kompleksi Sendromu Ve Oral Kontraseptiflerle Tedavisi

Abstract

Bu makalede fizik ve lâboratuvar bulguları itibariyle Turner sendromu teşhisi konmuş iki vaka anlatılmaktadır. İkisi de periferik kanla yapılan kültürlerde 45/X0 kromozom kuruluşu göstermişlerdir. İkinci hastada ayrıca otozomal resessif kalıtım şemasına uyan konjenital kalça çıkığı tesbit edilmiş; bunun ait olduğu kindredde bir başka sterilite vakasının bulunması manâlı karşılanmıştır. Her ikisi de Wilkins şemasına ek olarak oral kontraseptiflerden «ovulen» ile memnuniyet verici bir şekilde tedavi edilmişlerdir.
