Stimulation of the Heart with R-Wave Coupled Pacing and Paired Pacing Techniques

Abstract

The results of a preliminary experimental study with paired pacing (PP) and R wave Coupled Pacing (CP), have been presented. Heart rate could be reduced with the tecnics mentioned above. Further, the effects of these technics on Blood pressure, and on Blood flow have been sdudied. We concluded that the electrical stimuli of the myocardium within the limits of the pulse generator (0.2 milisec. and 1-10 mAmp.) are prety safe in terms of vulnerability of the myocardium to fibrillation. The value and application of these technics have been discussed.

Çift Stimülasyon (CS) ve R Dalgasına Refakat Eden Stimülasyon (RS) Teknikleri ile Kalbin Tenbih Edilmesi (Eksperimental Bir Ön Çalışma Neticeleri)

Abstract

Çift stimülasyon ve R dalgasına refakat stimülasyonu (RS) teknikleri ile yapılmış tecrübî bir ön çalışmanın neticeleri takdim ve münakaşa edilmiştir. Her iki teknikle de kalb atım sayısının azaltılması mümkün olmuştur. Ayrıca, bu tekniklerin kan basıncı ve kan akımına tesirleri incelenmiştir. Kullandığımız stimülatörle verilen sunî elektrikî tenbihlerin (0.2 milisaniye ve 0-10 mAmp.) miyokardı tenbih bakımından oldukça emin stimulus olduğu kanaatine varılmıştır. Tekniklerin klinik tatbikattaki değeri kısaca münakaşa edilmiştir.
