Abstract

We have observed 134 multiple pregnancies in our cilinic between
1947 and 1962. Of them 132 are twins and two are triplets.
Amcung these cases, we have found 2.8 per cent toxemia of pregnacy,
0.02 per cent polyhydramnics, 1.4 per cent early seperation of the
placenta. Multiply pregnancy is more İreguent in multipara than
those of primipara, In only one case we have seen foetus papiraceus.
The labor in 63.4 per cent of the cases was throughly normal and in
36.6 per cent byoperation.

Abstract

Kliniğimizde 1947 ile 1962 yılları arasında 134 çoğul gebelik gözlemledik. Bunlardan 132'si ikiz, ikisi üçüzdü. Bu vakalar arasında %2,8 oranında gebelik zehirlenmesi, %0,02 oranında polihidramni, %1,4 oranında plasentanın erken ayrılması tespit ettik. Çoğul gebelik, multiparlarda primiparlara göre daha sık görülür. Sadece bir vakada fetüs papiraceus görüldü. Vakaların %63,4'ünde doğum tamamen normaldi ve %36,6'sında ameliyatla gerçekleşti.
