Treatment of Tibial Pseudoarthrosis with Internally Sliding Bone Grafts (Review of 18 Cases)

Abstract

1 — In the department of Orthopaedic and Traumatic surgery
of Ankara Medical School, in between 1960 - 1967 eighteen pseud
arthrosis of Tibia were operated. Here sliding inlay grafts combined
with Phemister procedure were performed. End results were classified
as 14 excellent and 4 good. There was no failure.
2 — This method seems the most safe and the most trustful
as, compared with the others.
3 — Pseudoarthrosis area which invaded by fibroid tissue,
undergoes to ossified tissue, when Slided inlay graft fused to its
bed.
4 — İf there is any open wound, this should be treated first
of all, Two to three months should elapse before to plan any bone
surgery.

Tibia Psödoartrozlarının İçten Kaydırma Kemik Grefleri İle Tedavisi (18 Vak’anın Gözden Geçirilmesi)

Abstract

1 — Ankara Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travma Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı'nda, 1960-1967 yılları arasında on sekiz psödoartrozlu Tibia ameliyatı yapıldı. Burada, kayan inley greftler ve Phemister prosedürü birlikte uygulandı. Sonuçlar 14 mükemmel ve 4 iyi olarak sınıflandırıldı. Başarısızlık olmadı.
2 — Bu yöntem, diğerlerine kıyasla en güvenli ve en güvenilir yöntem gibi görünüyor.
3 — Miyom dokusu tarafından istila edilen psödoartroz bölgesi, kayan inley greft yatağına kaynaştığında kemikleşmiş dokuya dönüşür.
4 — Açık yara varsa, öncelikle bu tedavi edilmelidir. Herhangi bir kemik ameliyatı planlamadan önce iki ila üç ay geçmelidir.
