Bir Çocukta Nöbetlerle Gelen Diansefalik Sendrom

Abstract

From all these observations and analyses, we understand that the diencephalon is an essential structure in all manifestations and consciousness of the affective life. It is the place where the higher spiritual realm connects with the instinctual and affective life, where the neurovegetative centers controlling internal organs articulate with the cerebrospinal system. Recently, especially according to authors like J. Delay, based on clinical experience, therapeutic methods (shock therapies), and neurosurgeons’ opinions, this region is considered the area where temperament (humor) is regulated. The great master of neurosurgery, Cushing’s description before his death is very accurate: “There, in the hypothalamus, a small and ancient (archaic) region just large enough to fit a big toenail, the headquarters of instinctual, vegetative, and affective life operates.
