On the Biological Reactions of Pregnancy

Abstract

This article discusses the biological reactions of pregnancy, including the historical development of diagnostic methods, the physiological effects of gonadotropins, and hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle and pregnancy. Classical pregnancy tests such as Ascheim-Zondek, Friedmann, Hogben, and Galli-Mainini are compared, with a focus on the application and results of the Galli-Mainini test in Turkey. Over 300 frog-based experiments are analyzed for accuracy, technique, and control. The diagnostic significance of hormonal levels in menopause and pathological pregnancies is also emphasized.

Gebeliğin Biyolojik Reaksiyonları Hakkında

Abstract

Bu makale, gebeliğin biyolojik reaksiyonlarını tarihsel gelişimiyle birlikte ele almakta; gonadotrop hormonların fizyolojik etkileri, menstrüel siklus boyunca hormon düzeyleri ve gebelikte idrarda görülen hormonal değişiklikleri detaylandırmaktadır. Ascheim-Zondek, Friedmann, Hogben ve Galli-Mainini gibi klasik gebelik testleri karşılaştırmalı olarak açıklanmış; özellikle Galli-Mainini testinin Türkiye’deki uygulama sonuçları sunulmuştur. Kurbağalar üzerinde yapılan 300’ü aşkın deneyde testin doğruluk oranı, teknik detayları ve kontrol yöntemleri değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca menapoz sonrası ve patolojik gebelik durumlarında hormon düzeylerinin tanısal önemi vurgulanmıştır.
