A Study on Sickle Cell Anemia in Central Anatolia

Abstract

I. Tests for sickle cehl anemia were carried on total 218 white patients. Out of these 218, 84 were in patients and 134 were out patients. 2. Methods used for sickling phenomenon were Scriver—Waugh, Daland and Castle and Da Silva. 3. No positive result of sickling phenomenon were observed in any patient with both of these tests.

Abstract

I. Kliniğimize başvuran 84'ü klinik, 134'ü ayaktan olmak üzere toplam 218 beyaz ırk hastada oraklanma fenomeni araştırıldı. 2. Çalışmada Scriver-Waugh, Daland ve Castle ve Da Silva yöntemleri kullanıldı. 3. Her iki yöntemin de her iki hastaya uygulandığı çalışma sonucunda oraklanma vakası gözlenmedi.
