Abstract

Ankara Numune Hastanesi Cerrahi Kliniği'nden Dr. İ. KAYABALI'nın bu makalesi, safra yolları ameliyatları sırasında uygulanan manometrik ve radyolojik kontrol yöntemlerini, özellikle Prof. P. MALLET GUY'in geliştirdiği metodu ele almaktadır. Makale, safra yollarındaki basınç ölçümünün başlangıçta hayvanlarda fizyolojik araştırmalar için kullanıldığını, ancak 1938'den itibaren ameliyatlar sırasında klinik teşhis amacıyla yaygınlaştığını belirtmektedir. Yazıda, bu yöntemlerin Oddi sfinkterinin durumu, safra yollarındaki olası tıkanıklıklar ve küçük taşların tespiti gibi konularda cerraha sağladığı kesin teşhis ve yönlendirme katkıları vurgulanmaktadır.
